Bookings open for The School Food People Show & Forum 2026
Taking place on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July 2026, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, the event brings together over 1,000 professionals from across the school food sector for two days of discovery, learning, and connection.
The event remains the only national UK event dedicated solely to school food and it remains a ‘must-attend’ date in the calendar. School caterers, managers and contract caterers can attend The School Food People Show free-of-charge but people will need to pay for their place on day two of The School Food People Forum.
For the first time all sessions on Tuesday 7th July will be open to delegates, visitors and exhibitors. After welcoming everyone to the 2026 School Food Show & Forum, national chair Brad Pearce will update everyone on the work of the association over the previous 12 months and outline key issues and challenges.
He will be followed by School Food People ambassadors Nadim & Tanya Ednan-Laperouse OBE, who will give an overview of the progress made by Natasha’s Allergy Research Foundation.
The School Food People Show is a free-to-attend exhibition of more than 160 suppliers.

Three school chefs including Katherine Ruffalls from Nourish Catering, Andy Lidster from Impact Food Group and Jenna McGeagh from Hertfordshire Catering Limited have already won their regional School Chef of the Year (SCOTY) heats to secure their place at the national final. The next two regional finals will take place on Friday 20th March.
