Brad Pearce to chair webinar on new school food standards in England

A School Food Project webinar for education caterers and chefs, which will take place on Monday 18th May from 2-2.45pm, will be chaired by chair of The School Food People Brad Pearce.

With the revised school food standards coming into force in September, five UK school food organsiations including Bite Back, Chefs in Schools, Jamie Oliver Group, School Food Matters and The Food Foundation have joined forces to launch the School Food Project, a coalition working to transform school food and food education across England. 

The free-to-attend webinar, chaired by Pearce, will see caterers hear directly from coalition leads about the School Food Project plans and will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their perspective. Pearce will give a five minute introduction to the school food standards as well as hosting a Q&A session.

The webinar will involve:

  • D’Arcy Williams, chief executive, Bite Back 
  • Naomi Duncan, chief executive, Chefs in Schools 
  • Sarah Rappaport, campaign manager, Jamie Oliver Group 
  • Stephanie Slater, chief executive, School Food Matters 
  • Anna Taylor, executive director, The Food Foundation
