Grab ‘N’ Go finalist spotlight: Moises Catalan
The competition was open to all staff that hold a kitchen-based post and who are involved in the daily preparation of students’ meals.
Competitors are required to prepare cook and present four portions of a Grab ‘N’ Go savoury snack with a total cost per head of 85p. In the final Moises will make Chilean Sopaipillas spice box with curry sauce.
Moises is a committed catering manager known for his positive attitude and strong passion for food. After completing his secondary education, he built his career through practical experience, gaining valuable skills in catering operations and event coordination. Moises has a natural ability to organise events efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
He is friendly, approachable, and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service, ensuring every client feels valued and satisfied. His passion for food drives him to create enjoyable dining experiences that bring people together. With strong teamwork and leadership skills, Moises continues to grow in his role, consistently striving to improve and make every event memorable and successful.
