McCain to host CropWatch Live – Customer Special

29 Apr 2026
The School Food People business partner McCain has announced it will host their first CropWatch of the new season on Friday 1st May from 12.30-1pm.

The McCain agriculture team will share the latest crop outlook straight from the farm, sharing with attendees behind the scenes insights about how they constantly strive to deliver customers the best produce.

A McCain spokesperson said: “Agriculture is at the heart of everything we do. We’re not just passionate about potatoes—we’re committed to championing industry best practices and supporting Britain’s farming communities by sourcing locally wherever possible.

“The session will be hosted live from our growers potato fields and farms, exploring what's happening with the potato crop at this time of the year as we enter the planting and growing season. There will be a chance for you to put your questions to our experts on anything at all.”

The CropWatch is for those who are:

  • Curious to see how the end of the 2025 crop is stored, live from one of the potato stores?
  • Want to explore what’s happening in our growers’ potato fields as we enter the planting and growing season?
  • Interested to see first‑hand how early potato crop is progressing at this time of year, live from growers’ fields and farms
