The School Food People names East of England SCOTY regional final winner
With the competition focus on producing nutritious and delicious meals for 11-year-old primary or secondary school pupils, the SCOTY competition is the ‘perfect showcase’ for passionate school chefs to demonstrate what they do best every day.
For her main course Jenna made chicken bon bon served with creamy orzo, zesty courgette ribbons and a romesco inspired sauce. For dessert she impressed judges with a caramelised peach tart with sweetened McDougalls and a basil infused bird's custard.
Jenna will be looking to replicate Erin Ward’s success who was one of the representatives from the East of England region who went on to win the 2025 version of the competition. The School Chef of the Year 2026 competition, is sponsored by Bisto from Premier Foods.
The national final will once again be held at The School Food Show on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July 2026 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole with the overall winner announced on the evening of Wednesday 9th July.
