Neil Porter, business director of The School Food People, said: “The project will consist of assisting and leading on supporting the industry with interpreting and delivering practical solutions to meet the new School Food Standards once confirmed following the consultation exercise. This project will also be in conjunction with the Department for Education.

“We are also keen to receive information that could help us develop our knowledge of the sector from the experience of experienced professionals in this area, to ensure the association remains at the forefront and continues to be the lead body. The role/s would be co-opted to a School Food People working group.”
