Jon has dedicated his entire career to the foodservice industry, with a strong focus on the cost sector. He has extensive experience supplying schools of all ages with a wide range of products across key categories, including Bakery, Desserts, Meat, Drinks, and Condiments.
Jon is passionate about ensuring that children receive balanced, nutritious meals every day in school, recognising the important role good food plays in supporting both learning and development. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with school catering teams, helping them source reliable, high-quality products while managing costs and meeting nutritional standards.
Jon is committed to supporting schools in delivering consistent, great-tasting food that meets the needs of pupils and staff alike. His belief is simple: by helping schools feed children well today, we’re helping build a healthier, brighter future for the next generation.
Luke Consiglio is the CEO of The Pantry, a leading school catering company in the UK renowned for its commitment to fresh and nutritious school meals. The Pantry has evolved from a local provider into a nationally respected name in education catering, earning a reputation for service excellence and innovation.
In recent times The Pantry has been recognised at the highest levels of the catering industry, receiving several prestigious awards, including a LACA Award for Contract Caterer of the Year, a Foodservice Catey Award for Education Caterer of the Year, named as Supreme Family Business of the Year and a Public Sector Catering Award for Catering Company of the Year.
With three primary aged daughters, Luke is passionate about making sure every child receives the schools’ meals they deserve, which starts with supporting LACA in raising the funding levels that caterers currently receive.
Keighley has a wealth of experience from both high street retail and education catering spanning over 20 years. Working her way up through the industry, she has a wider operational understanding of all roles within catering, coupled with a high-level strategic view. As Head of Operations with Nourish Contract Catering, Keighley is hugely passionate about making a difference to children’s lives on daily basis. Not just with the interaction and experience of food itself, but also by the overall Education and added value activity, instilling children with positive relationship with food at an early age.
Keighley is vehemently behind the movement to give all children a free healthy, balanced and nutritious meals at school. Having worked with many families in deprivation and hardship, showing parents how to cook at home on a budget to support in any way she can. Keighley is driven to support LACA in any way she can and continue to broaden the reach of the great messages it is driving.”
Peter has worked in the foodservice industry for 42 years and worked within the education sector for the past 28 years. Previously with McCain Foods, and now with Pizza Plus, who are proud partners Of The School Food People.
He believes every child should be offered a healthy and nutritious meal daily and no child should go hungry within the UK, and we must make food poverty a thing of the past. Peter is also keen to get children & students understanding where food comes from and works with caterers on menu & recipe solutions, to understand the provenance of the food they serve. A supporter of UK manufacturing & British Farming.

Simon is a well-known and trusted figure in the industry, having represented Hobart Equipment UK for over 23 years. A Certified Foodservice Professional, he plays an active role in several healthcare, education, and public sector associations. Simon is passionate about delivering innovative catering equipment solutions that help education catering teams save energy, space, and time. With cost challenges on the rise, he enjoys collaborating with key industry stakeholders to share best practices, explore new ideas, and advocate for increased funding support across the sector as well as contribute to shaping the future.
Rebecca is a director at William White Meats Ltd, a family-run business specialising in catering butchery and manufacturing for the foodservice sector, with a strong focus on education catering. With a keen eye for innovation, she has led the development of products like the ‘Blended by WW’ range, which combines meat with vegetables to offer healthier, sustainable, and cost-effective meal options for schools.
Under her leadership, William White Meats has prioritised sustainability, working to reduce food waste and support schools in providing nutritious meals for their students. Rebecca is deeply committed to LACA's mission to ensure every child has access to healthy, balanced meals at school and is an active advocate for policies that support school meal funding and healthier food choices across the UK.
Martin has worked in the foodservice industry since 2012 and currently works for Sofina Foods, who supply high quality pork and seafood products to the sector under brands such as Young’s Seafood and Plumtree Farms. Martin manages the two largest wholesale partners and their end user customers across the UK.
As a parent of two school-age children, Martin is passionate about ensuring that all children receive a hot, healthy, and nutritious meal every day, because good food supports better learning and brighter futures.
Jules has spent more than a decade at McCain Foods, where she leads the Education Sector. Her career is built on experience across the food industry, with previous roles at Brakes UK, Bidfood UK, Kraft Foods, and Unilever.
Deeply passionate about UK farming, Jules is committed to championing high‑quality British ingredients. She works to inspire buyers to support local agriculture, protect the nation’s farming heritage, and reduce reliance on imported produce by cutting unnecessary food miles.
